| Hallways and Corridors
There are many things that lurk in the halls. Many students feel as though they are being watched, and it isn’t by the portraits. There are thousands of secrets around Hogwarts, like secret doors and rooms. If you walk around long enough, you'll probably find one or the other. The hallways also lead to many of the classrooms. Don't get lost!

| Staff room
Where the professors spend their time in between lessons. It’s located off the Entrance Hall and guarded by two gargoyles. It is a long paneled room with mismatched dark wooden chairs, and a large wardrobe occasionally occupied by a boggart.

Are you sick or injured? This is the place for you. The matron can heal all your woes with the flick of a wand, but don't think you'll get off easily. Most likely you'll be confined for several days.

| Library
Not as lovely as it used to be. Many of the books that were related to muggle life were destroyed during the takeover. The forbidden section has grown to include two other sections, both of which the Castus Blood House can gain access.

| The Kitchens
Located directly below the Great Hall and behind a large painting of a bowl of fruit lays the Kitchens, where the house elves are worked to their scrawny bones, convinced they aren’t free. The kitchens are usually off limits during feasts or special occassions, but at all other times, the house elves are more than willing to help you get a midnight snack.

| Room of Requirement
The Room is located on the seventh floor, opposite a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. To make the Room appear, a person has to walk past the section of blank wall three times concentrating hard on what is needed. The only room untouched by Voldemort and his Death Eaters. For some mysterious reason it has failed to make an appearance to those who known of it’s location

Climb up to the Owlery to send and recieve messages. Remember that some owls require payment, and may bite if you try to gip them.

| Blood Houses |
| Castus Blood House
Down into the dungeons, which cause despair, through the winding stone labyrinth and into the stone floor itself hides the house of the sly and cunning, who will do anything to get their way. It’s finely decorated with dragon leather couches, fine, green silk pillows, gargoyles famours for giving first years nightmares, and portraits of both Salazaar Slytherin and Lord Voldemort.

| Dimidium Blood House
Climb a tall tower on the west side of the castle, and walkthrough to find what was once the great house of Ravenclaw, the tower has been renamed, and is now home to many half and mixed blooded students. Their quarters are relatively tidy, decorated in navy blue colors.

| Immunda Blood House
Located in the basement near the kitchens, down the staircase to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall you will find the home of the lowest of the low. Muggles are placed in this house of what was once the loyal. They have the old beds left behind, and the rooms are barely clean and web covered. The occasionally house elf will risk a beating to light a fire during the cooler seasons, and sometimes bring the starving better food.

| Professors' Quarters
As amazing as it may seem, Professors do need sleep. This area is devoted to the sleeping quarters of the professors. All except the Heads of houses. They sleep in the house towers/dungeons.

| Gryffindor Tower
What was once the great house of Gryffindor is now only a dingy, rotting tower. Students are forbidden to enter the tower, but the only thing stopping them is a locked door which replaced the portrait of the Fat Lady.

Already filled with crumbling gargoyles, the new staff doesn’t really care about fixing old and new damage. It adds character and is usually a very soothing place to relax with your friends, especially during the warmer seasons.

The pitch is for the games and practices of the quidditch teams. However, other students have found their way onto the pitch for a good lap around the field.

| Black Lake
Once filled with life, the lake seems like a watery wasteland. The giant squid hasn't come out to sunbath for three years, and it is rumored the merfolk abandonned it only a few months after the attack on Hogwarts.

| Forbidden Forest
To the east of Hogwarts castle is a large, dark forest. This forest is strictly off limits to Hogwarts students. Much of the forest population has abandoned it, all except the dark creatures and the centraus who haven’t been sighted in quite some time. A more frightening through is that the forest is growing. Over the past five years it seems Hogwarts has lost ten feat to the forest. The other idea is that someone just can’t count.

| Whomping Willow
A very valuable, very violent tree planted alone in the middle of the school grounds. A secret tunnel leads to the Shrieking Shack, which was previously used by Remus Lupin. Be cautious when approaching.

| Kings Cross Station/Hogwarts Express
This is the infamous Hogwarts Express. This train will take the students to and from Hogwarts. This board will not only include the train, but also the train station and Platform 9 3/4.

| Diagon Alley
The entrance to the Alley remains the same, but beyond the brck wall it is very much different. the streets are not light and happy as it used to be. Many shopps closed, but Gringotts, Olivander's, etc, remain behind, some leaving room for hope.

| Heritage College
Unplottable and unseen by muggles, the 18th century mansion of Heritage college is located in the country side of Buckinghamshire. Many families come here to have their family trees drawn up for the upcoming school term. There are many jobs ranging from copyists, who copy family trees, secretaries, researchers, and those who maintain the archives where family trees are stored.
